Supervisor Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Supervisor with a minimum of 3 years experience in high-end custom residential and/or commercial construction. This role is pivotal to our operations and requires a professional with a strong background in structural contracting and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge in both concrete and reinforcement work, including footings, walls, and slabs.

  • Proficiency in handset job-built formwork and ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms).

  • In-depth understanding of flatwork, drainage, and quality control processes.

  • Expertise in wood framing, with an emphasis on precision and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with different finishes and their impact on framing processes.

  • Competence in using layout tools such as lasers.

  • Experience in framing and forming is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily construction operations with a focus on efficiency and quality.

  • Develop and monitor construction schedules and milestones.

  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures for production and quality control.

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company regulations.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of in-house employees and subcontractors.

  • Conduct site meetings and provide clear communication to on-site crews.

  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.

  • Perform material take-offs and manage resources effectively.

  • Resolve conflicts and troubleshoot problems to maintain workflow.

  • Multi-task and manage multiple projects successfully.

  • Make informed, independent decisions based on data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Hands-on carpentry experience and job-site leadership.

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

  • Valid Working at Heights (WAH) Training

  • Basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and a tool belt with essential hand tools.

Location:

  • The majority of our work is based in Toronto.

Compensation:

  • Bi-weekly payment via direct deposit.
